Greetings All,

I've read about it over and over, but today, for the first time, I got to see the unintended comedy of a large, fat juvenile Cowbird, hoping from branch to branch and harrassing it's Cassin's Vireo "parent" to feed it. Cowbird - 44 grams, Vireo - 16 grams. Talk about a missmatch.

On a lighter note, I also got to watch 4 Waxwings settle in on a couple of twigs high in a tree, when one of them (the top bird in more ways than one, no doubt) promptly pooped on the bird directly below him. And you thought it only happened to humans!
