Be wary of crow keeping. The children of a coworker of mine once brought in
a young crow dislodged from it's nest. They put it in a cage in a room with
an open window thereby allowing it to broadcast a message of complaint . The
1st day saw about 6-7 adult crows around the house. The next day the number
had risen to a couple of dozen. By the end of the week all the neighborhood
crows were in attendance cawing loudly for hours on end. The human
neighbors also began to raise a cry and the "crowling" was released.
