Tweets,

Barb and I spent several hour perusing shorebirds in the Perch Point and
Lind Coulee areas. The numbers are way up even with the busyness of weekend
recreators.
We managed to find some nice shorebirds and good numbers as well. The
following is a short list of what we located this evening.

Perch Point:

Semipalmated Plover - 3
Lesser Yellowlegs - 14
Greater Yellowlegs - 3
Solitary Sandpiper - 4
Spotted Sandpiper - 3
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 21
Western Sandpiper - 60+
Least Sandpiper - 20+
Baird's Sandpiper - 75+
Stilt Sandpiper - 7
Wilson's Snipe - 2
Red-necked Phalarope - 9

Lind Coulee:

Semipalmated Plover - 2
Black-necked Stilt - 4
Lesser Yellowlegs - 5
Spotted Sandpiper - 2
Solitary Sandpiper - 3
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 9
Western Sandpiper - 33
Least Sandpiper - 15
Baird's Sandpiper - 39
Stilt Sandpiper - 4
Red-necked Phalarope - 11

Other bird of interest included several Orange-crowned Warblers at Perch
Point, and 7 American White Pelicans at Lind Coulee.

Cheers
