She got a book on raising ducks, kept him under heat lamps, fed him chicken
food and vitamin supplements, bought him custom-made duck diapers and
brought him to work every day.

Ok I have heard it all now.... "Ducky Diapers" They now need to rehabilitate
a duck that has been nursed by someone who thought the poor thing needed
diapers... Anyone who thinks wildlife wether captive or not needs diapers
shouldn't be addressing any animals needs.

I feel sorry for the people who are rehabilitating this now Diaper dependent
duck...Will he be able to survive without the diapers or will it be forever
searching trash cans after its release to find those diapers it has become so
dependent on. How about the ducks offspring will they need diapers as well.
This could be a real issue for future Mallard generations.

Hopefully the Good officers of our Fish and Wildlife Department will have
intervened in time to save the future generations of Mallards from Diaper Rash.
