This afternoon, while tied to a buoy on the east side of Blake Island, my husband and I were witness a pair of sea otters, a mother and her pup, they were feeding on a school of small fish, about 20 feet off shore. We watched for at least 30 minutes and in that time they were eating one fish each per minute if not more! It was incredible the amount of fish those two small animals ate. The only reason they were not eating more was the fact that some of the fish were larger and they took more time to maneuver into position before they went down the hatch. We were mesmerized by their fish eating! When they were full, they headed to shore to roll in the sand and lay up side down in the shade, mom was tired but like most children the pup was not ready for a nap just yet, and as we left them the pup was pulling her moms neck fur and rolling on top of her mothers belly. A wonderful sight just a few miles shy of the space needle.

If you were arrested for being kind, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
