hi tweeters- about 2 pm today i saw 1 juv.pacific golden plover at the end of the mid-tide spit in tulalip bay- it was amongst ~60 black-bellied plovers- i have searched this flock of bbp. countless times for a golden,before -no such luck...-it was smaller ,goldener! + it flew w/ them showing no black axillaries- as well, there were 6 sanderlings + a sm. flock of western sandpipers.,an osprey nest w/ at least 1 juv.+ sev. caspian terns.
