A bit misleading maybe, but the 75 Greater White-fronted Geese flying over Columbia NWR this morning were headed north and out of view about Potholes Reservoir. Lind Coulee may have been their destination for an afternoon of loafing (not making bread but digesting it.) Not many wheat fields left in the irrigated Columbia Basin that haven't been burned and/or replanted already.
