I stopped by John's River WA late this morning. They were just about to
finish mowing the fields (and parts of the marsh it seemed) and removing all
the blackberry bushes along the trail, so I hardly found any shorebirds
there. Also, the wetlands seem to be mostly dried up now. Still, there were
a MacGillivray's Warbler and 2 Vesper Sparrows along the trail at about
0.2mi from the parking lot.
