Saturday, I went to 3 Crabs in Sequim. Of note to me, were the purple martins. I finally saw some that I can now identify! Another birder told me that there are nest sites out on the pilings at 3 Crabs. I learn something new every day!

Also, there were caspian terns amongst the California gulls. there was a smaller tern, that other people thought might be a common tern.- but identity was not confirmed.

It was not seen by other birders who came a little later.

I would not have posted this, if I had not read the post about common terns seen else where - and their id. confirmed

Maybe someone else will see the same bird at 3 crabs.
