Dick and other Tweeters,
I subscribed to BNA online for the first time this year and have been
pleased. The information online is the same as the hard copies which unless
you are at a place that carries the complete set can be tough to access.
This subscription, which I believe is 30.00 per year makes it easy to search
for information, including tabs to the information you might have to page
through in the hard copy. The search engines and setup are also very user
friendly. Also included on this are picture and audio files of most species,
as well as the sonograms found in the hard copies. The audio files even
contain more obscure tracks such as the alternate song of Grasshopper
sparrow (the bubbly tinkling song). I would recommend it to somebody who
would normally have need to look up the information that is contained in the
BNA accounts.
I hope this review helps those of you who are wondering the same question as
posed below by Dick.
