Hello,

Fished Quillecene Bay this morning and saw a few Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Great Blue Herons, Guillemonts, Kingfishers and Gulls. Above the marina an eagle chased an Osprey for atleast a hundred yards. The eagle stayed perhaps twenty feet behind the Osprey and matched the Ospreys every turn and weave. I'm guessing it was over territory and not predation.
Moments ago I was watching a hummingbird in my moms Fuschias. It was a female, grey with a faded dark green on its back. I was watching it from about three feet away. After it finnished with the bush it perched in an apple tree where its still sitting. Their is another hummer on the phone wires and two more chasing eachother around the yard, not sure of the species though. A Downey Woodpecker? is also on the suet feeder. Their were hummers in the yard most the winter, anyone know what they be feeding on.
