It would seem to me that a person purchasing such a book would be a
novice. In addition to the usual photos of the adults, a novice might
find the following beneficial:

Photos of typical nests
Where to look for the nests
Photos of the young
Feeder types and locations
What the various birds typically eat

A CD of the various calls might also be included.
