My observations, or rather lack of, Black Swifts in the Central
Cascades had me convinced that they had all but departed for the year.

It seems the Skagit River Birds have their own time table. Last night
at 7:30 I got a look at a flock of 48 individuals helping two
nighthawks lower the insect population over the fish hatchery at
Marblemount.
