We watched the Snowy Owl for about an hour this afternoon. Wonderful sight!
Today it was near the south parking lot off Emerson Street. Take Emerson to
the south parking lot. Park in the lot. At the end of the lot is a set of
stairs which take you to a trail overlooking a some logs about 75 feet off the
trail. The Owl was on the logs in plain view and seemed to be unconcerned
about all the birders and photographers there.

The people at the east entrance visitor center knew where the bird was and
gave directions.
