I enjoyed a really nice afternoon at Discovery Park,
watching the photographing the Snowy Owl. As reported
earlier, he was south of his usual haunts on a stump.
Gorgeous bird at close (50') range in perfect light.
Very Nice!
I also had a White-throated Sparrow flit by at the
same spot while I was watching the Snowy. And a
Cooper's Hawk.
I later located a Barred owl on the South Beach trail,
right at dusk.
Nice afternoon!
