The snowy owl was present in Discovery Park again today, Sunday 12/4 till at
least mid afternoon. It had been on a low pile of wood till it was
accidentally flushed by some people, then it flew briefly and landed on a
nearby garage.
And today I read from the Orca Network Sighting Report that a snowy owl was
seen at Carkeek Park, reported by Fred Felleman.
Coming back across the Ballard Bridge I saw a peregrine flying over the
south shore on the west side, about 2:30 pm.
