Subject: [Tweeters] Rattus rattus

I have complete a cursory investigation of the 7 pellets I recovered
from the South Jetty Snowy Owls.

3 pellets contained rodent skulls that, using Mammals of Oregon, I
have tentatively identified as BLACK RAT (_Rattus rattus_). A fourth
contains lower jaw bones which look like Black Rat also. The remaining
3 pellets do not have any skull parts, but a non-clinical best guess
based on the long bones is Black Rat.

So, Black Rat.

I will sift through the fur and stuff to get full counts and look for
non-rat parts tomorrow.
