Hi Tweets,

This afternoon I took a drive up to Alder Lake to check out the birds. At the lookout I heard and then saw two Townsend's Solitaire's eating the madrona berries. I have seen one before in the spring near the dam last year. Am I correct in the IDing of this bird in the winter? Are they still here?

And then I saw and took a few pictures of a white headed Canada goose, she looks to be a hybrid to me. I could not get to close as they are hunted regularly at the lake. I do have pictures if anyone would like to take a look and comment.
