A fellow photographer saw and photographed 6 Greater White Fronted geese
in the fields near Blake's Resort off Rawlins road yesterday, December
7th. I don't typically see them on Fir Island so figured it was worth
reporting them to Tweeterland. He also photographed a snowy owl and
Short Eared Owl at close range from Jensen's Access. Only one Snowy was
seen from the end of Rawlins Road - the bird at Jensen's was probably
the second of the two that were spotted there over the weekend.
