One Northern Shrike at Hayton access yesterday, 12/8.
There was a probable snowy owl but the distance was great.
The snow geese were not there but about half way between Maupin rd and the north
fork access.
Lots of swans near Pioneer highway north of Stanwood and at Jensen's access.
There was a small group of snow geese with the swans at Jensen's and a huge
flock of mallards circling the field.
North fork had four short-eared owls.
Lots of other good but more common birds.
