Hello All,
We along with 8 other birders just returned from looking for the reported
Snowy Owl located yesterday west of Milton-Freewater a half mile south of
the Walla Walla County line. We had no luck, but did locate 9 Barn Owls and
three Great Horned Owls ( one very pale bird) along Frog Hollow Rd. in
southern Walla Walla Co.. We also saw 100+ hawks in the alfalfa fields along
Frog Hollow Rd..Sun shine, blue sky and all of 25 degrees....great day.
