Tweets - OK, so this is a senseless pursuit, but I've now seen 199 species
in King County for 2005. I'd really like to get to 200. Actually, I'd like
to get to at least 201, just to remove any doubts that I got there.

I've seen most of the common stuff (except for a few summer birds that I
missed before I thought about trying to reach 200 for the year). But there
are still a few possible candidates for birds that COULD turn up in King
County in the remainder of the year:

Tundra Swan
Long-tailed Duck
Northern Goshawk
Rough-legged Hawk
Black-bellied Plover
Common Murre
Ancient Murrelet
Western Screech-Owl
Northern Saw-whet Owl
Mountain Chickadee
Harris's Sparrow
Pine Grosbeak
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch
Cassin's Finch

Some perhaps less common birds would be:

Clark's Grebe (I'll try to find one at Discovery)
Gyrfalcon
Say's Phoebe (I've heard the rumors about Boeing Ponds)
Bohemian Waxwing
White-winged Crossbill

There are, of course, possibilities of something really rare showing up, but
I don't want to be hoping for a fluke to reach my goal.

If you see/hear one of these birds in King County, can you please let me
know as soon as possible? I'll search for them myself, but I could use some
help.
