This is late, but thought you'd be interested in the trip 4 of us made Saturday afternoon doing part of the Lincoln Co. Winter Bird Route (described ABA Birder's Guide to Wash., p. 401; map, p. 400), starting from Swenson Road, Deer Park. We encountered 5 or 6 Clark's Nutcrackder along Hwy 231 in pines towards Reardon from Tum Tum. Most interesting perhaps was the flock of sparrows in the trees (evergreen and deciduous), shrubs and adjacent field west of a farm along McRae Road, NW of Reardon. Among the juncos were several Song Sparrows and at least 1 AMERICAN TREE SPARROW (Gina, check it out!). Near the end of the day an immature Bald Eagle approached us from the south, heading north and passing over our heads at low elevation while we watched from Morrison Road, SE of Davenport. We had great looks at 5 flocks of Gray Partridges in as many locations throughout the afternoon. It got dark before we could finish the route, but it's worth checking out again!
