I too heard a Song Sparrow singing yesterday and wondered the same thing
. Does any one have insights into this they can share? The one I heard
Wallace Swamp Creek Park-Kenmore) had forgotten some of the words or
something it was clearly a Song Sparrow song but it didn't sound quite
right.

Each morning for the past week I've been very pleasantly woken at sunrise
by the sound of a song sparrow. Isn't December a bit early to be marking
out territory and attracting mates? Is this typical?
