I added Barred Owl to my yard list on Sept 24th, 2005 at 10:20 am! Tonight I have a pair calling in almost the same area. I love to hear them in the south and southeast (I have lived in Mississippi and Virginia), but have to admit to being a bit less than thrilled about these moving into the neighborhood.
