Hello Tweets,

Despite the long stretch of frosty nights here
on the Sammamish plateau, we continue to have
an adult male ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD coming into
our feeder. We had it today and we lie
inside the East Lake Washington CBC circle.
Hope it lingers through the 17th! It is sometimes
joined by a female.

I'd be interested to hear if the other Anna's
that were reported over the last couple months
on the plateau are still appearing as well.

We did not hear the BARRED OWL today. We've had
Barred Owls in the woods behind the house for
the last year. We most recently heard one Tuesday
evening.

One last good potential CBC bird of note, this one
for the Kitsap circle. For the last month, there's
been a WESTERN SCRUB JAY hanging out in Poulsbo
along Bjermeland Road about a block east of city
hall. It's been preferring the apple tree on the
east end of the professional building (19068 Jensen
Way NE) where I work.
