Hello All,
This evening while out looking for the Frog Hollow Snowy Owl with Dr. David
Lindsey and his family we located the following species along Stateline and
Frog Hollow Rds.

Barn Owl...........7 birds along Short Rd.

Great Horned Owl..2 birds along Short Rd., one very pale bird.

Short-eared Owls....2 birds off Frog Hollow Rd. 15'-200' above the fields.
These are the first ones we have seen in the county this year.

SNOWY OWL...1 sub-adult just off Frog Hollow Rd. After looking all day for
this spectacular bird MerryLynn spotted it at about 4PM just north of where
it spent the last two days. It was perched on the ground at the crest of a
hill to the north of Frog Hollow and east of Forest Rd..

Prairie Falcon....3 birds along Frog Hollow Rd.

Red-tailed Hawks......120+ birds

The Snowy Owl has now been along Frog Hollow for three days.
Later Mike
