Subject: [Tweeters] Finch number, especially pine siskins on cbcs

Not on a CBC but I did have a small flock 13-15 feeding Pine Siskins at
Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park on Saturday morning. This is an area
when in most years it is easy to see multiple huge flocks of siskins on
almost any day from November to March - literally hundreds of acres of 20-50
year old alders, prime food source.

Last Wednesday I saw a flock of about 30 Evening Grosbeaks near the Expedia
Campus next to the Eastgate Park and Ride - more than I've ever had in a
single flock anywhere!
