Hello All,
Today under warm(30 degrees) overcast skies and calm winds, we along with
Johnny and Sheri Powell explored parts of the WW CBC circle. Birds of note
were.........

Northern Goshawk.......1 sub-adult chaising a Merlin above our heads out
over Mill Creek.
Merlin......1 bird evading capture by a goshawk.
Am. Dipper.....1 bird on Mill Creek
Pileated Woodpecker.....2 birds along Mill Creek Rd.
Williamsons Sapsucker.....1 male still at east end of Scenic Loop Dr.
feeding on blue elderberries.Second winter record in WW Co..
Bohemian Waxwings......80+ on Blue Creek Rd.
Lesser Goldfinch.....1 ad. male along Langdon Rd. south Walla Walla.
Lesser Scaup......1 ad. male along Taumarson Rd.
Long-eared Owl.....1 bird at Bennington Lake.
Snowy Owl.....1 sub-ad. female along Frog Hollow Rd.
