Is there a difference in appearance of male and female Dippers?

bottom of page) Are males darker?
Is that picture even of Dippers?
I have been observing a Dipper at Wallace Swamp Creek Park ,I read that
both sexes sing, the WSCP bird sings. I don't know if I should refer to
it as , he, she or it.
