Hi Ian and Tweeters,

Here in Parksville, there is a Bald Eagle pair nesting in a large black
cottonwood a block west of us. The pair roost in or near the nest about 10
months of the year. It's quite common to hear the birds vocalizing at night.
There are a pair of Great Horned Owls that have moved into the neighborhood
as well, and when they are vocalizing it really seems to get the Bald Eagles
talking at night.

thanks,
