The idea behind the wikipedia is that it is an open source (and
free) information base. Not only can anybody add an entry, others
can edit or add to or "fix" it. By the time I got to the cited URL the
flock of Brewer's Blackbirds had already been removed (though you can
still look at the picture if you go to the history section and
look at one of the previous incarnations).

WiKipedia is not my first choice for information but it is more
reliable than Ian suggests.

As for photos, I usually go to Google, choose images and type in
what I want in quotes (eg. "American Dipper"),
