This morning I birded around Vance Creek county park here in Elma. My best bird was 3 Canvasbacks mixed in with a Scaup flock on the big pond closest to the airport. The pond is on the south side of Wenzel Slough Rd.. This is my first record of Canvasback at the park. Also, on the same pond were 3 Trumpeter Swans.
