Something tells me everyone isn?t going to just sit around and let these Yardbirdracers coast to easy victories!

And why not set a mark-to-beat-next-year in one of those neighborhoods, cities, counties and places that have never fielded an entrant? This includes the downtown, Belltown, most outlying cities with notable exceptions like Maltby, and anything with the word Island in its name.

Among recent entrants one from SAM & CATHERINE TERRY in Leschi in Seattle Class G is setting a Class G record, do I need to say a Leschi record, and ties the current Seattle leader.

One of the most among many notable birds of the 2nd annual Yardbirdrace was a HOODED ORIOLE , published as a record in the WA Ornithological Report, seen in warmer times, that came with the list recently entered by CATHY CONOLLY from her Magnolia yard.

Entrants may decide between a state of the art Violet Green Swallow box, a one-year sub to Washington Birder, a valuable membership in Birdlife International, or a membership in their local Audubon Society.

Remember you don?t have to be land-restricted like most of us are to YardBirdRace. Class A is for Acreage, thanks to ANDREW EMLEN of SKAMOKAWA.
