A couple of tidbits of information concerning Baikal Teal.

A male Baikal was located and well observed north of Santa Barbara, CA on
December 11. I am not sure whether the bird continues.

A Baikal Teal was reportedly shot by a hunter on Sauvie Island (Columbia
River near Portland) recently. No date and no other information.

Keep an eye out there.
