I just checked my feeders and was delighted to see the block of peanut butter suet cloaked in a layer of Bushtits! Others of the flock were nibbling on the viburnum, which is full of fragrant blossoms dispite the cold snap earlier in Dec.

The past few weeks there have been three Varied Thrush taking seed along with the chickadees and juncos. So far this fall and start of winter I have not seen any Pine Siskins.

Happy Holidays,
Judy
