Subject: [Tweeters] Glaucous gull in Port Angeles

Greetings and Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays if you keep one of the
other ones). Just before noon there was a glaucous gull at the Valley Creek
Estuary in downtown Port Angeles. After about five minutes it flew west
around the point in the direction of the port dock. I'm going to guess that
this is a different bird than the one from a few weeks ago: seemed more
starkly white (tho with some pale brownish streaking around the head) and
also slightly smaller.

Not so unusual but still fun to see, found at least 4 Townsend's warblers in
a mob with both kinglets and chestnut-sided chickadees at Lincoln Park (PA)
yesterday.
