We did take a drive up to Port Angeles this afternoon, Dec 27, to try to see
the Snowy Owl and it was still there. It was on the other side of the Coast
Guard fence perched on a sign post. The light was very good and we had
great views of the bird.

Some of the other great birds that we saw were; Ruddy and Black Turnstones,
Sanderlings (on the beach and also at the side of the road eating seed from
a birdseed pile), Harlequin Ducks, Common Loons, Surf and White-winged
Scoters, Common and Barrow's Goldeneye and at the John Wayne Marina in
Sequim, Hooded and Red-breasted Mergansers.

Hope you all get in some great birding in the last few days of 2005.
