Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday February 3. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
at 503-233-3976.

A bright YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER is now being seen in Seaside. From Hwy 101
turn west on 12th St., cross the bridge, then turn left and park in the lot.
The bird is moving about in the neighborhood to the west. One or two
MOUNTAIN CHICKADEES and a PALM WARBLER are also in the area.

The female BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER is still being seen at 3932 NE Taylor
St. in Portland. Walk along the right side of the house and look over the
fence. No need to check in at the house. The FALCATED DUCK is also still
being seen at the RV Park west of the Coburg exit of Hwy I5 north of Eugene.
Be sure to check in at the office.

RUFOUS and ALLEN?S HUMMINGBIRDS are now arriving along the southern Oregon
Coast. Waterfowl are now moving about. Early flocks of WHITE-FRONTED GEESE
are now being seen. Two SNOW GEESE and two ROSS?S GEESE and a BRANT are now
at Finley NWR. On January 30 a BRANT was at Jackson Bottom. Over 800 SNOW
GEESE are now on the east side of Sauvie Island.

Among the many birds on Suttle Lake January 28 were a male and a female
GREATER SCAUP. A COMMON REDPOLL is coming to a feeder along Foley Drive
north of Burns. On January 28, 110 REDPOLLS were at Conboy Lake NWR in
Washington north of The Dalles.
