I haven't had chickadees at my hummingbird feeder, but I have a song sparrow that loves it, as well as a redwing blackbird that loves it.

Tweeters,
I'm wondering if others have observed chickadees feeding at Hummingbird feeders. I have had a hummingbird feeder up in the back yard for a number of years and have had at least a pair around all year. Recently I have watched chickadees come to the feeder. Initially I assumed the chickadees were getting insects attracted to the sugar water. Two of the four bee guards are missing from the spouts. There are small puddles of the sugar water but no insects. They must be drinking the sugar water. Both chickadeess and hummingbirds come to the feeder at the same time, choosing different spouts.
