Hello Tweeters
Today I received the Owl Book I ordered what got well recommended by birders from birders from Phoenix Arizona who visiting Olympia to seeing the Redwing. We met true Jim Burns who told him about us.We birded wit Jim for two days, both trying for the photo of the Redwing.I noticed that he was well known since all the birders from California greeted him.But a week later I later when I met the Johnson's from Phoenix I would find out that Jim Burns is an a established Photographer and published his one books. One of the Books as an Owl Book called"North American OWLS" Journey through A Shadowed World.by Jim Burns.Includes free Owl CD.
This Owl Book is by far THE BEST OWL BOOK what I been seeing by far this tops them all.A treasure to have in you library. .If any of you birders have a chance to have a look at this book you will agree.I know a lot about Jim Burns while we was looking for the Redwing that Jim is in such good physically shape that he used to be a professional Tennis Player, but he never told me about the Owl Book so I can see how Jim is a humble man. This Book going to be now special for me since I birded with him looking for the Redwing who he sent me a nice photo of the Redwing with some appreciation for all the Olympia birders who hosted this bird.
I had a super special Day today and than receiving the Shorebird Book by Dennis Paulson was another special Day.And than the Great DVD from the Redwing BY OWEN SMITH another highlight. It can not getting any better than that.
Cheers Ruth Sullivan
