Hi Folks,

I am looking for a decent second pair of binoculars for my friends and
family. We tend to do a lot of hawk and duck watching. I don't have a
spotting scope - so I am looking closely at many different brands of 10x
binoculars.

One inexpensive brand I have come across is Foton (Russian made?). They
have a 10x roof that resembles old Zeiss classics.

I am trying to determine how well they work. Would anyone in the tweeters
community have a pair? and if so, can you comment on their quality?

We're looking for a light weight roof 10x glass that is reasonble in
price. This is one model that has us intrigued.

Any comments, suggestions or feed back would be great.
