I received a message this afternoon that the Redwing also got seen by Jo Ann &Hue MacKenzie from Surry ,BC..There also was accompanied by Viveka Ohman and Simon Liao.Jo Ann is the Executive Secretary International Taiwan Birding Association
There saw the Redwing at 8.45 at the north end of Sherman,where the Steep,vegetate slope goes down to Harrison.We had been there only about 15 minutes when the bird appeared with 25 or so robins.Than the flock flew SW and we followed them to 5th and Percival,where we got good scope view.From there the went to the Kent ponds looking for the Baikal teal and running in to Jim Zamon who earlier also saw the Redwing.There did not found the Baikal Teal,but all was happy this to see the Redwing since the last sighting was on February the 1th
Hopeful this direction of this bird will helping other birders tomorrow.
