I would like to pass along a note I received from Luke Cole of San
Francisco, that he saw the REDWING in Olympia on Wednesday, February
2. Luke is a well-known California birder, and has just completed a
stint as Chairperson of the California Bird Records Committee.

So it sounds like the Redwing, if not being seen every day, is at
least being seen a bit more often than we thought.
