Bob Sundstrom asked that the following BirdBox report be posted on

Bob Sundstrom, currently leading a VENT tour with Brennan Mulrooney,
reports that, between 11:30 and 12:00 today, February 8, his group found
an adult (or possibly third-winter slightly sub-adult) Iceland gull at
the mouth of the Elwha River. This bird seemed to be of the very pale
variety, not a Kumlien's type. It was with a flock of a couple of
hundred gulls bathing and roosting on a gravel bar slightly offshore.
Also present was a likely second-winter Iceland Gull.
