Tuesday, February 8, 9:14 AM - This is Steve Pink, (425) 273 0598. I'm
in Olympia and have just seen the REDWING. It was located between
Plymouth and Rogers between fourth and fifth in an alley in a deciduous
tree. That was at ten past nine. It was in the tree for at least ten
minutes. Lost it temporarily. Thanks. Good luck and good birding.

Tuesday, February 8, 2:13 PM - This is Bob Sundstrom birding the Elwha
River mouth with Brennan Mulrooney and my Victor Emmanual Nature Tour
group. We saw an adult ICELAND GULL or possible a third winter slight
sub-adult ICELAND GULL of the very pale variety, not a maybe Kumlien
type with a couple hundred other gulls roosting or bathing at the mouth
of the river or sitting on the slight off-shore gravel bar. It was
about 2:00 today. There was also a second bird, probably a second
winter likely ICELAND GULL in the group. It seemed to return in sight
just inside the gravel bar that's just off-shore. My phone number is
360 561 5049.
