We have a Red-flowering Currant blooming in our front yard here in
Coupeville. Can the hummers be far behind???
I once watched a Rock Pigeon fly onto the ferry at the Keystone end of the
run between Whidbey Island and Port Townsend. During the ride across it was
foraging for crumbs dropped by sloppy human passengers. It disembarked at
the dock and then rejoined the ferry after all the cars had been loaded.
