Kathy Criddle reported singing WESTERN MEADOWLARKS and HORNED LARKS as well
as 12 CHUKAR on Badger Mountain on January 27. She had a female MERLIN in
her yard on that day.

On January 28, Dennis Rockwell found a male WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKER in Two
Rivers Park in Kennewick. It has some sap wells in a pine at the end of
the parking lot opposite the restroom between the lagoon and the
caretaker's residence. 2 BROWN CREEPERS and an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER have
also been present.

The WHITE-THROATED SPARROW that has been south of the Newcomer parking lot
in Groves Park in Richland was seen by Bob Woodley on February 3.

Wayne Heinz reported a dark morph Swainson's Hawk along Snively Road in
West Richland on February 5. This is a very early report for Swainson's
Hawk which normally return in April.

On February 6, Mary Hollen had a MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE at her North Richland
feeder. Either they are passing back through or the one at Snyder and
Benton Streets has moved a few blocks.

Wayne Heinz reported a count of 21 BALD EAGLES in Sacajawea State Park in
Pasco on February 6. There were 3 adults and 18 immature birds.
