Hi Charles!Originally the owners did not want us (the original party of
birderspresent--Norma Trefry, Gina Sheridan, Harold & Karen Cottet, Mark
Houston,Tom Munson, and me) to post the Cape May Warbler on-line at all. They wereokay
with me submitting the report to the state records committee and
someword-of-mouth, but not with posting. Gina came up with the idea of them perhaps setting
parameters on viewing sothat we could at least post locally. Norma spoke
with them a bit and thenasked me to discuss it again with them, which I did on
Monday. Al then gaveme permission to post locally (on inland-nw-birders) and
announced at thelocal Audubon meeting (tonight). He was still reluctant to have
this postedon tweeters, so I haven't.I do know that several birders from the
west-side have asked for directions,so I know it's getting around.As for
directions--as long as the limits are given with the directions, it'sokay to share
those. They just didn't want their address or phone numberposted on the
listserv.Al and Anne have just been wonderful about all this, they were just
veryworried about being overrun by birders and didn't want people poking aroundwhen
they weren't home. We wanted to make this a good experience for them(so
hopefully others will be willing to do the same). Personally, I thinkAl is getting
a kick out of this--he really seems to enjoy talking with thebirders coming
by. Just a side note--Anne is a wonderful watercolor artist and has a
