There has been a flock of 8 to 12 Golden Crown Sparrows at the Hundred Acre Woods in north Lakewood for the past month. They ARE staying low to the ground in dense blackberry cover, but do respond to pishing.

Hi,
Does anyone have gold crowned sparrows on their property this winter ?
Do they ever eat at or below feeders?
I have not seen any this winter but I heard one sing late last summer but
according to what I have read they don't live here in the summer.
Thanks,
Terri
